Two Worlds II : PS3 Review

Overview- You are thrust into a Skyrim-esque fantasy world with Orc allies, a lengthy tutorial mission(s), and a sister to save from the evil clutches of the King.

Review- After escaping the castle, but leaving your sister, the overworld is vast and very freely exploratory. The controls are confusing at first and hard to become accustomed to. I found my character, instead of equipping his bow, taking off all his clothes. Aside from the medieval striptease he offered, the main character is likable enough, and you can also choose how he handles certain situations in dialogue, which is always good in an RPG. The graphics are captivating, as long as you don't look during the cutscenes, in which the detailed images become fuzzy and pixelated. Even so, when exploring the fantastic overworld, the graphics are enjoyable. The game has many missions and sidequests, all are fun to play and equally challenging, and unlike many games of the RPG genre, your character actually talks. This is for the price of being limited to a male only protagonist, however. It wasn't the best game when it came to the music or voice acting, and the hand motions the characters made while conversing were laughable, but was nonetheless witty and entertaining. Even this, however, won't stop me from saying that the game will just make you want to play Skyrim, the A rated counterpart to this B rate game.
